1. Acceptance of Terms

By subscribing to Project Radford ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not subscribe or use the Service. Project Radford is operated by The Shade Tree Fund and provides personalized investment education podcasts powered by artificial intelligence.

2. Beta Product Disclaimer

Beta Pricing Lock-In: The first 1,000 subscribers will receive lifetime access at $199/year. After the beta period, pricing will increase to $399/year for new subscribers. Your rate is locked as long as your subscription remains active.

3. Subscription & Billing

3.1 Pricing

• Monthly: $24.99/month
• Annual (Founding Member): $199/year (price locked forever)
• Payment processed via Stripe, Inc.
• Automatically renews unless cancelled

3.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Access continues until the end of the paid period. You can manage your subscription via the Stripe Customer Portal.

• Content based on your portfolio, interests, and investment knowledge level
• AI-generated dual-persona dialogue (Lane & Radford)
• Real-time market data integration
• Delivery 3x per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

6.1 Nature of Content

ALL content provided by Project Radford is generated by artificial intelligence systems, including Google Gemini for script generation and Gemini Flash TTS for voice synthesis.

6.2 Limitations of AI

AI-generated content may contain:

• Inaccuracies or errors - AI can misinterpret data or context
• Outdated information - Market data may have delays
• Bias - AI reflects patterns in training data
• Hallucinations - AI may generate plausible-sounding but false information

7. Data Usage & Privacy

When you provide portfolio information, we use it to personalize your podcast content. We store it securely in Google Cloud SQL (encrypted). We do NOT share it with third parties for marketing. We do NOT sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, including AI-generated podcast scripts, voice recordings, website design, and branding, is owned by The Shade Tree Fund and protected by copyright law.

You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and listen to podcasts for personal use only. You may NOT redistribute, sell, or share podcasts, use content for commercial purposes, or reverse engineer our AI systems.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal. We may terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse or misuse the Service, or fail to pay subscription fees. Upon termination, your access to podcasts will cease, we may delete your account data, and no refunds will be provided.

11. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately for new users and 30 days after notification for existing users. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
